Stacy Parris, a 24-year affordable housing vet, currently serves as the Executive Director for the Fort Payne Housing Authority. As a housing professional, Mrs. Parris has served in numerous roles such as HCV Program Coordinator, Relocation Coordinator, Multi-Family Property Manager, Senior Property Manager, Vice-President of Employee and Customer Experience, and Tax Credit Property Manager. Her determination and persistence have allowed her to accumulate multiple degrees in different fields including but not limited to Criminal Justice and Emergency Management.

As a wife, mother of 5, Godmother of 2, and beloved aunt of many, the affordable housing professional enjoys making a difference in the lives of others daily. Her vision for the Fort Payne Housing Authority and the community as a whole is to provide an inclusive atmosphere both internally and externally. She is determined to be an advocate within the community, to show compassion, build trust, and foster authentic relationships with those who are a part of the agency and the Fort Payne Area. Mrs. Parris is currently enrolled in the first ever LEAD Cohort with NAHRO, is registered to begin the Executive Director Education Program with PHADA, starting in January, is a member of the Fort Payne Lion's Club, serves on the AAHRA Training and Education Committee, The SERC-NAHRO Rental Assistance Committee, as well as serving as an Emerging Leader for SERC-NAHRO.
