Housing Programs

The Fort Payne Housing Authority's mission is to provide decent, safe, and inclusive housing for individuals and families. Our objective is to provide upward personal, economic, and social mobility to assist in promoting self-sufficiency. We strive to unite housing, people, and services to assist our families in building up their neighborhoods and communities.

Housing opportunities at Fort Payne Housing Authority (FPHA) are provided through the Public Housing (PH) Program and Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program, previously known as the Section 8 Program. FPHA currently manages 283 PH units and 115 HCVs in the community.
